My artwork is all about taking a mental vacation, and taking the viewer with me! Taken from reality, my subject matter is filtered through my mind's pair of rose colored glasses. The final painting reflects the positive energy and hidden beauty the World we live in beholds. my work is from the perspective of the average New Englander. Capturing many coastal scenes, local culture, and tradition.

I take photographs of what inspires me, and work from them to try and recreate what I saw in my minds eye. I will use aspects of different photos and combine them, Many times altering colors, or other small features to achieve the true essence of my vision. The final result should be something that reminds you of a place you might see in a dream, larger than life and magical. The viewer should be transported to that place, only to awaken from their daydream wishing they were really there.
